Cidnewski Kapelye is an Italian klezmer band formed in 2016. Its core members are the founder and band leader Angelo Baselli (clarinet), Olmo Chittò (vibraphone) Rossano Pinelli (piano) and Andrea Bugna (double bass). The band expanded in 2017 with the addition of Ukrainian violinist Oksana Ivasyuk and accordionist Davide Bonetti.

Although they have a traditional approach to this music genre, the band’s sound is very recognisable due to their use of the vibraphone – which is hardly used in this genre – mixed with the clarinet and the violin – soloist instruments par excellence. The band’s name comes from the hill in the center of Brescia (Cidneo Hill), the city in Northern Italy where the band is based. "Kapelye" was the typical name of the Eastern European music ensemble.

Since its foundation the band has played several local and national gigs, taking part at the European Jewish Culture Day 2017 and the festival "Klezmer e dintorni" in Bologna. In 2017 they began their collaboration with singer, actress and theatre director Miriam Camerini, with whom they are working on the play "Messiah and Revolution" dedicated to the Bundist experience.

Their debut album "Koilen" has been recorded in November 2017 and released in 2018. It features an ensemble made of clarinet, violin, accordion and double bass. It is dedicated to the klezmer music coming from the borders of Austria-Hungary – Galicia, Bukovina, Bessarabia, Podolia, Poland, and Ukraine.
